To the sojourner, to the weary. To those who don’t feel safe or welcome. To those who need a space to process or cry or to share a meal. To all people of color, to all historically marginalized communities in America.

In the days ahead there are many unknowns. I don’t know what will happen – but I know how I can and must continue to respond as a follower of Jesus – to hear, to welcome, to love the marginalized communities.

This is a movement. This is me moving in response. For as long as the Lord gives me breath, you have a safe space here in Pittsburgh. I see you. I pray that the Lord would continue to go before you and behind you. I embody that prayer and live into the name God has given me.

Love,
